While many of the current submissions utilize existing Team Fortress 2 assets or introduce quality ones of their own, some more outlandish maps have surfaced. This new workshop is designed to give map makers crowdsourced feedback on their submissions, as well as broaden the scope of players who use custom maps. It is now joined by a beta edition of the Maps Workshop. Back in March, a workshop devoted to designing taunts were launched. This time, sights are set on Team Fortress 2. With the dust of the paid mods controversy finally settled, Valve have turned their eyes back towards the workshop. Do you have no idea how to make a map, but you like playing on them? Are you only vaguely aware of what maps are and prefer to just walk in a single direction until you find what you’re looking for? Are you great at making fun, addictive TF2 maps? asks a post on the official Team Fortress 2 blog.
